CHUCK – SEASON 5 – WILL END ON A ‘POSITIVE NOTE’

Zachary Levi has suggested that his NBC series Chuck will end on a positive note. The comedy-drama was renewed for a final 13-part season last month, with new episodes expected to air on Fridays at 8/7c in the fall. Levi told E! Online: “It’ll be our swan song and we all kind of ride off into the sunset together. It’s great [because] we get closure.” Chuck co-creator Josh Schwartz previously admitted on Twitter that he is “very grateful” for the opportunity to give the show a proper conclusion.”

[The] decision by NBC to pick up Chuck for a final season to complete the story was incredibly classy,” he wrote. “A gift to fans who have been so loyal.”

Schwartz added: “Of course those decisions not always up to us, but it’s nice to see fans’ feelings taken into account. Every story deserves an ending.”
